TheFTOChemiluminescentAssayKitisdesignedtomeasureFTOactivityforscreeningandprofilingapplications.ThekeytotheFTOChemiluminescentAssayKitisahighlyspecificantibodythatrecognizesmethylatedsubstrate.Signalisinverselyrelatedtotheactivity.Withthiskit,onlythreesimplestepsonamicrotiterplatearerequiredfordetectionofdemethylaseactivity.First,FTOenzymeisincubatedwiththesubstrate.Next,primaryantibodyisadded.Finally,theplateistreatedwithanHRPlabeledsecondaryantibodyfollowedbytheadditionoftheHRPsubstratetoproducechemiluminescencethatcanbemeasuredusingachemiluminescencereader.
