Description:
Resminostat,alsoknownasRAS2410,isapotentinhibitorofhistonedeacetylase(HDAC)classesIandII(includingHDAC1,HDAC3andHDAC6)withIC50valuesrangingfrom43to72nM.Resminostatehasthepotentialtobeusedforthetreatmentofmultiplemyeloma(MM)duetoitsABIlitytoinducehistoneH4hyperacetylation,andapoptosis(IC50rangingfrom2.5to3µM)inMMcells.Recentstudyresultshaveshownthat,inMMcelllines,resminostatabrogatescellgrowth,suppressesproliferationandinduceG0/G1cellcyclearrestaswellasinterferingwithAktsignalingpathwaybydecreasingphosphorylationof4E-BP1andp70S6k.
