BIOLOGicalActivity:
Caspase-3/7inbibitorIisapotent,reversible,isatinsulfonamide-basedinhibitorofcaspase-3(Ki=60nM,IC50=120nM)andcaspase-7(Ki=170nM).Itisaweakerinhibitorofcaspase-9(Ki=3.1µM).ItHasonlyatrivialeffect(Ki(app)>25µM)ontheactivitiesofcaspase-1,caspase-2,caspase-4,caspase-6,andcaspase-8.IthasbeenshowntoinhibitapoptosisincamptothecintreatedJurkatcells(IC50~50µM).Alsoithasbeenreportedtoinhibitapoptosisinchondrocytes(44%inhibitionat10µMand98%inhibitionat50µM).
