TheReninAssayKitisdesignedtomeasureReninactivityforscreeningandprofilingapplications.Itcomesinaconvenient96-wellformat,withpurified,activatedrenin,reninsubstrate,andassaybufferfor100enzymereactions.AliskirenHydrochlorideisalsoincludedasacontrolforrenininhibition.ThekeytotheReninAssayKitisthespecific,fluorogenicsubstrate.Usingthiskit,onlyonesimplesteponamicrotiterplateisrequiredforreninreactions.Thefluorometricsubstrateisincubatedwithasamplecontainingreninenzymetoproduceafluorophorethatcanthenbemeasuredusingafluorescencereader.
