ThePRMT1DirectActivityChemiluminescentAssaykitisdesignedtomeasurePRMT1activityforscreeningandprofilingapplications.ThekeytothePRMT1ChemiluminescentAssayKitisahighlyspecificantibodythatrecognizesmethylatedR3residueofHistoneH4.Withthiskit,onlythreesimplestepsarerequiredformethyltransferasedetection.First,S-adenosylmethionineisincubatedwithasamplecontainingassaybufferandmethyltransferaseenzyme.Next,primaryantibodyisadded.Finally,thestripplatesaretreatedwithanHRP-labeledsecondaryantibodyfollowedbyadditionoftheHRPsubstratetoproducechemiluminescencethatcanthenbemeasuredusingachemiluminescencereader.
