Description:
TheAP1ReporterKitisdesignedformonitoringtheactivityoftheJNKsignalingpathwayandthetranscriptionalactivityofAP1inculturedcells.Thekitcontainsatransfection-readyAP1luciferasereportervector.ThisreportercontainsthefireflyluciferasegeneunderthecontrolofmultimerizedAP1responsiveelementslocatedupstreamofaminimalpromoter.TheAP1reporterispremixedwithaconstitutively-expressingRenilla(seapansy)luciferasevectorthatservesasaninternalcontrolfortransfectionefficiency.Thekitalsoincludesanon-inducIBLefireflyluciferasevectorpremixedwithconstitutively-expressingRenillaluciferasevectorasanegativecontrol.Thenon-inducibleluciferasevectorcontainsthefireflyluciferasegeneunderthecontrolofaminimalpromoter,withoutanyadditionalresponseelements.Thenegativecontroliscriticalfordeterminingpathway-specificeffectsandthebackgroundluciferaseactivity.
